I love stories with a happy ending (even though this one took years too long)! And the parallel with UFO files is not a small deal. I figure another thirty years and Devoid will have obtained full disclosure.....

Hey, I'm reading . . . and all the way to the end. Nevermind UFOs. This story is an eye-opener and reminder of how a government can and will abuse its citizens in the unimpeachable name of national defense, then deny, slander, and obfuscate when these activities come to light. Remember President Eisenhower's cautionary inaugural adddress (the famous "military-industrial complex" phrase was born here). I suspect he was hinting at these and other abuses taking place at the time. Unfortunately, there's no reason to believe that other abuses, equally heinous, aren't taking place now. Just think of the Area 51 workers suit. Nevermind UFO reverse engineering, the real story is that base workers were routinely and regularly exposed to the most toxic of substances which led to horrific health issues and premature deaths. They were stonewalled just like the A bomb GIs. I strongly suspect the beat goes on.

The suffering Pat and her husband endured makes any UFO part of her story seem pretty insignificant. Unfortunately, I think this type of stuff happens every day (VA with holding benefits). I remember hearing an interview with the soldiers who were at the Rendlehshem UFO landing and I think those guys believe they got cancer from this UFO landing experience but have had no luck with the VA either. Might be an interesting follow up story......
